EMDR Therapy

What is EMDR Therapy?

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. EMDR is a trauma therapy that I use regularly in my practice, as I’ve discovered that trauma comes in many forms that most of us do not recognize (bullying, stressful work situation, illness). Desensitization to past disturbing events utilizing an EMDR tool assists to process trauma, as well as enhance self-regulation techniques.

Healing through Haptics

It all begins with an what happens in your head at night. Your brain processes memories and experiences through rapid eye movement in your sleep. Haptic is created using paddles to help simulate a similar experience while you are conscious and allows you to process traumatic memories or events. This is a tool of EMDR practice that you will experience in my office, or remotely.

Since all Idaho sessions will be telehealth, I have provided links with different setups and prices for purchase to use in our remote sessions.
