Telehealth

Is it a good option for you?

My Telehealth practice uses RingCentral to connect on a HIPPA-compliant platform for video-calls for online appointments. After working in telehealth regularly since 2020, my experience is that it is good for some and not for others. First, personal preference. Second, can you have a secure, private environment free from regularly predictable interruptions/disruptions, so you feel safe. If doing trauma work in telehealth, you may look at investing in an EMDR tool to keep at home, I teach you how to use them in session, and how to use them on your own for calming practices when not in session.

Steps to Connect:

  1. You will receive an email from RingCentral to join Amy in a virtual meeting.

  2. Click on the link in the email to join the virtual meeting.

  3. Give permission for microphone and camera use from your device once prompted.

For Apple users:

  1. Download the RingCentral app first.

  2. Follow previous steps to connect.

Either search for the RingCentral app or follow this button here to download the app.
